CrossFit Kids Mareeba is a method for teaching CrossFit to children ages 7-14. Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.
CrossFit Kids term 4 is taking registrations, all classes are held on Tuesday & Thursday 3:30pm – 4:00pm.

CrossFit Kids and Teens is the complete CrossFit program, geared and designed for children and teenagers and the specific developmental needs of those age groups. Our program is broad, general, and inclusive.
Healthy living requires that our kids push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump, effectively and safely regardless of whether or not they play specialised sports. They will learn to do all these things with a focus on good movement mechanics and good fun. Not only that, research indicates exercise is beneficial to cognitive function. Consistent engagement with the programme can positively impact on children’s academic achievement.
